We are honored to have the Arlington National Cemetery within our district. The Cemetery spans 639 acres and is the final resting place of 400,000 active duty service members, veterans and their families.
On the grounds of the Cemetery are two significat musical instruments: the organ at the Old Post Chapel (details here); and the 49-bell Netherlands Carillon, given by the people of the Netherlands to the people of the United States in recognition of their sacrifice in liberating the Netherlands during World War II.
